Juan José is a partner in Santiago Mediano’s Tax Department. He specialises in advising companies, high net worth individuals and family groups, with a particular focus on the Media & Entertainment sector. He also has extensive experience in legal defence in criminal proceedings related to offences against the Treasury.
He began his career at Zarraluqui Abogados and, in 2008, joined CIALT Asesores, where he was appointed head of the Madrid office in 2015 and partner in 2016. In 2017, he founded INNOTAX, a firm from which he successfully developed tax equity structures, particularly applied to R&D&I and cultural projects.
He holds a degree in Law from the Complutense University of Madrid and has a solid postgraduate education: Master’s Degree in Financial and Tax Law, Executive MBA and Master’s Degree in Tax Consultancy for Professionals from the IE Business School, as well as a specialist degree in Economic Criminal Law for Companies from the Pablo de Olavide University.
