Founding Partner of Santiago Mediano Abogados, Silvia is the Head of the Industrial Property Area.

She has over 25 years of experience at prestigious and renowned Spanish and international law firms on issues related to industrial property rights, including trademarks, patents, and designs.

She specializes in consultancy on the protection of industrial property rights worldwide, assisting clients in developing strategies to maximize and protect their IP rights, as well as managing large-scale portfolios, working side by side with law firms and industrial property agents throughout the world, supervising foreign counsels in trademark proceedings in foreign courts and administrative agencies, and providing strategic guidance with respect to multi-jurisdictional disputes.

She represents diverse national and international clients in the prosecution, registration, exploitation, and enforcement of their intellectual property rights.  Among her clients are household names in the entertainment, media, sports, textile, and real estate.

Silvia also represents numerous clients in administrative actions before the Patent and Trademark Offices, being a Certified Agent with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office (SPTO), the World Intellectual Property Association (WIPO), and a representative with the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO).
