Sonia holds a degree in Psychology from the National University of Colombia and has developed her professional career as a paralegal specialising in industrial property in national and multinational law firms. She has also complemented her training with courses and seminars at the SPTO, the EUIPO and the EPO.

In 2024 she joined Santiago Mediano Abogados as a trademark paralegal in the Industrial Property area.
